Bio
As a passionate and creative instructional designer and life-long learner, I enjoy creating educational experiences that are engaging, relevant, and make students want to learn more. A large part of my success while working with subject matter experts or other stakeholders stems from my ability to cultivate an intuitive understanding of their needs, and spearhead the project from there. What I Do
Curriculum Development
I create curricula that supports students' needs. As a life-long learner myself, I approach every project, whether it be a formal, degree-bearing program or an informal training session, with empathy and insight for the ultimate goal: the student experience.
Learning Design
I believe in a collaborative approach to developing classroom, online, and blended learning experiences. From learning objectives through assessments, I use the ADDIE methodology to develop and evaluate curricula holistically to ensure that it meets the goals of all stakeholders involved.
Ed Tech
I enjoy serving as an evangelist for the unique possibilities technology can bring to education. I have managed Learning Management Systems, evaluated and implemented LTI's and other tech solutions, and created trainings to help students, instructors, and staff learn the skills they need to succeed in the new tech-enabled world of education.
